This is the best hotel in Calgary. I could live here.

Room was superb, really nicely done and what you'd expect for the price

It's central location. It's a beautiful, modern clean hotel.

Unfortunately we were given very poor directions to the underground car park when we wanted to self park our car. My husband drove around for 45mins to find the entrance.The Valet was very reluctant to give directions as he wanted to valet park our car. Also when we came to check out there was an $89.00 difference, in the hotels favour, on the rate I had quoted on my confirmation document.The receptionist stated I had booked the room for myself only and my husband had also stayed, she then realised that the booking was for two people. However, I was promptly reimbursed.

This hotel is gorgeous, it's only 3 years old so everything feels brand new. We were very pleased when we saw our Queen Room, very modern and spacious and there were Moulton Brown Toiletries! Its in a great location, and round the corner is a paved area for 3 blocks packed with bars and restaurants.

With the exchange rate this hotel ended up being expensive plus you pay 38 dollars a day to park a car

The rooms were well decorated and extremely quiet. Little to no noise from the hallways could be heard while in the room. Also, the hallways were extremely quiet, you could not hear noise from the rooms while walking about. The rain shower head was very nice and relaxing. The bed was also extremely comfortable.

There was no free in room coffee or tea. The Nespresso machine provided cost $2.50 per pod of coffee.

Very modern and spacious rooms. Nice breakfast included. Good location close to the +15 system but not connected to it.

The conversations of people in the hallway can easily be heard in the rooms which did wake us a couple of times. Once people entered their rooms it was extremeley quiet.

We loved the design of the rooms; they were sleek, modern and funky. The bed was exceptional. Once you sunk into that bed, it was the epitome of comfort and luxury. We liked the fact that the hotel made efforts to be green; especially commendable was the setup for the lights (using the key card to activate and deactivate the lights). The continental breakfast was fabulous with its focus on organic and fresh. The hotel is in a marvelous location within walking distance to Eighth Avenue and its cafes, bars, restaurants. It is a beautiful hotel and we had a wonderful stay.

Since we stayed from Thursday to Monday, we did not like the fact that the room rates were significantly higher on weekdays (Sunday to Thursday).

The hotel was immaculate from the inside out. The price point was a little high but it was worth every penny. Upon finding the hotel I realized how great the location actually was. Right behind Stephen Ave which had plenty of restaurants and shops that are the vivarant part of Calgary. Would definitely stay at this hotel again on another visit.

Service was good, rooms were comfortable. Loved the shower.

Maid service put a wet sheet and comforter on the bed Wednesday of my stay. I had to call them to replace and remake the beds. They blamed a broken dryer, but I found that to be a poor excuse. Half the bed was wet so I don't see how they couldn't have felt that making the bed the first time. It has me questioning if I will stay the hotel again.

We love the hotel le germain Calgary simply because it's a hotel le germain. We love this hotel chain and have enjoyed the hotel in Toronto at maple leaf square and calgarys location didn't disappoint. The rooms are luxurious, a beautiful decor with the most inviting shower and bed to lay your head. We wish there was a hotel le germain in every city we visit.

If we had to state any dissatisfaction with this hotel location in Calgary would be a few of the staff at the front desk weren't as friendly or accomodating and we didn't get our complimentary newspaper our last night there.

We liked the large, modern rooms and quality amenities. The hotel has a very nice atmosphere. Breakfast was included in the rate and was good quality.

Wonderful start to our holiday in Canada. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed after not sleeping for 36 hours. Great location. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Definitely the most high end hotel in Calgary today. Excellent service. Valet guy addressed me by my name every time. All the staff strive to be super helpful. A bit pricey but everything in downtown Calgary is pricey and 100% booked up all the time due to the high volume of business travellers. Very large room compared to other hotels of comparable price range. Very high end. I had the breakfast package. It included continental style breakfast or choice of oatmeal, muesli and fruit. Lots of healthy choices. The rooms are done high end Euro style a.k.a Ikea for rich people...(if you like that kind of design...not my cup of tea, I am fan of the rustic country classic or traditional type of design) but ignoring the style issue, the bed and pillows were super comfy. Location can't be beat. Everything in the downtown core is quite walkable. There is a tonne of room for spreading out your computer and work files. I came for business and would recommend this for couples get away or business travel. I have 2 kids aged 3 and 7 and would not recommend this place for families with young kids. The rooms have showers only and no tubs and the layout does not really lend itself to have mom, dad and the kids sleeping there there.
